Yes, unfortunately it appears that the second clutch was not fertile.

Remove all of the infertile eggs at the same time. If the hen goes to nest again, let here. She should be well rested.

Three or four days after the hen begins to sit on the nest (after the last egg of a clutch is laid), you can hold each egg up to a light. In a fertile egg you will either see veins and the outline of the embryo or the egg will be dark. An infertile egg will remain clear.

To maintain optimum fertility, at least once a week, give the birds the opportunity to bathe.

: Hi! My canaries mated for the first time earlier this year. From the first batch of eggs, two hatched and grew to two lovely birds. The first egg of the second batch was born on March 2nd, and three more came in the days that followed. Unfortunately, until this morning, March 27th, none has hatched, however their mother still sits on them constantly. I was told that if the eggs were dead, she would break and throw them out of the nest, but she has not done so, and it's been 25 days since the first one was born. Should I take them away from her, and if yes, should I take them one by one or all together? And should I expect her to go on immediately to a third batch and prepare her a new nest or should I separate her from the male?
