Hi! My canaries mated for the first time earlier this year. From the first batch of eggs, two hatched and grew to two lovely birds. The first egg of the second batch was born on March 2nd, and three more came in the days that followed. Unfortunately, until this morning, March 27th, none has hatched, however their mother still sits on them constantly. I was told that if the eggs were dead, she would break and throw them out of the nest, but she has not done so, and it's been 25 days since the first one was born. Should I take them away from her, and if yes, should I take them one by one or all together? And should I expect her to go on immediately to a third batch and prepare her a new nest or should I separate her from the male?
