She is right but here is another precaution. if you hit a blood feather while cutting the wings,here's what you got to do.Have a bag of flour and needle-nosed pliers ready.if you hit it(it will bleed)quickly pull out the feather and with a cotton ball,put a dash of flour on the spot and hold it there until it stops bleeding.It'll grow back.Good Luck:) A.j
