i noticed that one of my canaries died......for no apparent reason.......i always wash the water dishes......anyway today i was changing the water and i noticed small size like maggots only thinner and had a tiny almost partial hook formed black end and examining more it appears as though there is also like a tiny black eye of sorts at the other end......they are about a fourth of an inch.......can you tell me what to do.....there are no vets around here anymore that take care of birds........thanks so much for your assistance......
