: I bought my 1year old male parakeet a HUGE cage today, and it looked so empty with just 1 bird in it.  I went to the pet store and bought the nicest parakeet i saw, its a white baby with red eyes.  I put the new parakeet into the new cage with my old parakeet.  They are not fighting, just checking each other out.  Do you think that they will fight eventually?
