: : : I purchased my first canary about one month ago -- from a pet store selling unsexed birds at a great price.  Well, Molly laid an egg today!  Will this continue to happen? In addition to bird seed, millet, cuttlebone, and treat seed, I have been trying other foods -- egg, egg shells, and oranges so far.  I am concerned about the egg laying.  Thank you for your help.
