If the hen does not seem harried and the hatchlings are doing OK, then don't worry.

Canaries can have up to four clutches. Two clutches is completely normal.

When the hen reaches a point where she seems to be tiring and/or the moult commences, it is time to separate the pair.

: Hi. I have a canary couple that have a nest of brand new (1-2 days old) hatchlings, and every time she gets off the nest to eat, etc., he mounts her. Is this normal behavior? Are they going to have a second brood and is that normal? I assumed canaries had the one clutch and that was it. Thanks for your answer. Liz
