: Dear all :
: i have a male canary since 3 years, before a year ago he started acting weird, he sets with his head twisted up side down, hardly singing, and hardly can fly, sometimes he drops on his back with his legs up like a dog!!!! and stays like this for a while.... i asked alot of people and they told me that canaries can get crazy or something, any thing i can do to this canary?

Dear Rabie:

Your little canary is not acting weird. Furthermore canaries do not act crazy. You should get your canary to an Avian Vet as soon possible. He could have had a stroke and one of these time he will die. So if you care for him get him to an avian Vet as soon as possible. Do not wast any more time.
Good Luck and let us know how you make out.
Grace
