: well the other day we had our budgie Nicademus out and he was accidently startled and flew in to a wall. His cere was injured and bleeding but we were able to stop it. We then took him to a local vet,but it wasn't an avian vet( have been unable to find one so far) Anyways he said that Nic should be fine but I'm just wondering if his cere will grow back? A piece is missing from the center of his cere from were in meets his beak to where it meets his forehead feathers. It almost looks like he has 2 sepereate cere now with a scab between them. Does any one know if it will grow back? The vet said it should but I'm not sure with so much missing.
