It looks like it is more than just food required for my poor boy. With so much weight lost, he also needs a lot of heat in order to recover.

I only found this out the day before yesterday, and applied it yesterday.

So now I have the heat in my appartment cranked up to over 25°C (unpleasant for me, but good for him), and have a 100 watt lightbulb hanging from a perch on one side of the cage. Bert has been keeping himself under the bulb quite a bit since I put it in.

I just wish I had some kind of heating unit that does not give off light, so I could have the heat going for him 24 hours.
