Over the past couple days, a canary has been feeding at my back yard bird feeder. It’s obviously domestic because first off, I live on Long Island in New York so I know Canaries are not indigenous to the area and second, it lets me approach it however flies away when I try to restrain it. I would
like to capture it and find it’s owner.

What’s the best approach?
