: My canary hen has laid 4 eggs, only one has hatched. The first baby hatched on the 13th day of incubation and it is now the 20th day. I know the other eggs will not hatch but the baby chick is using them as a prop. Should I leave the remaining eggs in the nest with the hen and chick or take them out. I would not like to remove them and then find out the hen will no longer sit on the nest. Will the eggs pose any threat to the chick? Thank you.
