To ensure feeding them high quality protein I feed them hard boiled eggs daily as follows:
1) During the moult, about teaspoonful per week divided into daily meals.
2) Otherwise, about half teaspoonful per week divieded into daily meals.
This scheme is safe because it does not lead to obesity or gout.
