Certainly, many canaries never develop gout as a result of feeding them boiled eggs. Others are prone to develop gout and those canaries should be dealt with very carefully when feeding them boiled eggs. I recommend feeding them ON WEEKLY BASIS rather than daily basis moderate amount of boiled eggs (half teaspoon). However, when moulting, the amount can be slightly increased still ON WEEKLY BASIS. Daily feeding of boiled eggs to some canaries can lead to gout and gout can lead to secondary infection and gangrene!
