: : I have had my little Yorkshire canary for abour two years, at Easter he just stopped singing. Why? He has always had a lovely song, I keep him in the same cosy place, he has all the correct dietary requirements and a bath of water every few days which he seems to enjoy. He has been moulting a bit but he just will not sing anymore I am now getting worried as he seems in perfect health otherwise. Has anybody had this experience with their pet? Am I doing anything obviously wrong!

: From what you write I can't see anything wrong with what you are doing. Try to give him water every day.  Also do you give him vitamins if not get some in the pet shop and try giving them to him.  
: Do you give him treats such as a small wedge of apple every day, romaine lettuce, kale and broccoli every day?  Make sure he has nice cold water to drink.  I don't know what else to tell you but I wish you luck and please keep up posted.
