the canary might find it hard to bring up chicks, the canaries i have just had 4 chicks, when she was pregnant she hardly came of the nest and her partner fed her as she sat on the eggs, now there hatched she comes of more and they both feed the chicks, they only hatched hours ago but straight away they both fed them she had a fly went for food herself, your canary might not get enough food, or have the energy, and if she has to get of the eggs to eat they might not get the right amount of incubation time, go here http://www.robirda.com/canbreed.html fester
