Canary FAQ

Posted by Mark on February 21, 2006 at 12:30:43:

Last spring I was delighted when my canary Bert started singing and warbling for periods of up to 15 seconds at a time, but I have become worried. Ever since his molt last summer, and a soft molt he had in the fall, which I cured by covering his cage better at night, he has not been singing. All he does now is the occasional single chirp. The warbling I enjoyed last spring appears to be gone.

Are there any suggestions as to what I can do to encourage him to start singing again?
