I bought to Bourke(not sure if I spelt it right) Parakeets last August. They got along most of the time, but now they are fighting every other day. I still don't know their genders, since I read it is hard to tell the difference in this breed. I am beginning to wonder if they are both males, and they need separated. If I separate them, should I look into a new set to put with them, since they don't like to be alone. If I were to get a new set of parakeets to join them, would they get along with an ordinary Parakeet. They are pretty big Parakeets. I just want them happy, and to stop biting each other. Also they have started lifting their tail feathers in the air and they make a wierd chirping noise. One bird likes when the other bird starts this, the other one hates it. What are they doing when they do this. A
