Canary FAQ

Former non-singing canary is singing thanks to respondent from this board. The same wonderful canary now has scaley feet. Chosing not to risk consequences of self-help, I took him to a "bird vet" as recommended. His trip to vet was disasterous - he nearly died from the stress and mishandling which resulted in an injured wing. What can I do to eliminate the scaley feet before the condition (mites)spreads - the vet is not an option. Help!!
