Canary FAQ

Posted by Karen on October 25, 2005 at 19:49:35:

Before moulting this past summer, my canary sang beautifully and melodically and very frequently and loudly. He stopped singing during the moulting. Now that his moulting is finished, he mostly chirps and sort of sings (not like before) only when I play his canary tape or run the water in the sink. He's eating normally. I give him a mixture of seed and pellets and some oat groats and song food on the side and a piece of apple or broccoli each day. Also, he seems as active as he did before he moulted. Could you please tell me what to do to get his beautiful song back?
