: : Hi, I have four parakeets, one female, three males. The female bird is very abusive towards one of the male birds (Pecking at face, pulling feathers). I have separated her out into a cage by herself. What can I do to stop her abusive behavior and create a happy and harmonious community?

: Do you have enough food dishes in the cage?  The females protect the food supply and become angry at the male birds if they are eating too much. There should be at least two food dishes per bird.  I did this with my birds when they were fighting and now they are friendly again.
