: Duster is a 18 mnth old cockatiel, we have had him  since he was 4 mnths from an aviary, 
: He has been ill now for 4-5 weeks. 
: His symptoms are as follows. 

: Weight loss, at the beginning of his illness he was 86 grams he is now 59
: The odd sneeze 
: Fluffed feathers
: some watery droppings, always runny and darker green, most of the time still has the white
: sleepy 
: red, watery eyes 
: Had loss of appetite 
: Doesnt talk or cheap as normal

: No coughing wheezing, pasted vent,no feather plucking, no being sick 

: He has had baytril that didnt do anything nor did eye drops. He has had dropping test for psittacosis which came back negative, has had two injections of doxycycline so far, the first one made no difference, the second he became very ill, and didnt come off the bottom of his cage, went totally off his food and water, he went into emergency care at the vet and had fluids and force fed, he has got a little stronger in the last few days, and is now eating/drinking on his own and we hand feed baby food twice per day, the vet says we carnt do blood test until his weight goes up, does anyone know what he could have, everything seems to have the same symptoms? he is shaking his feathers every now and then, but he is not over preening.
