I just purchased a one year old bare eyed cockatoo from a pet store. I was told that it is independent and very non aggressive. I was also told that it already reached sexual maturity. He also had a finger cut when it go tcaught in a cage appx. 8 months ago , however, I was assured by the manager that it had no effects on the bird. Is the information I received correct and should I bring the bird home? The bird seemed very friendly and relaxed at the store.
