Let the hen sit on the eggs for what would be the normal time of incubation -- fourteen days. Sitting on a nest slows down the production of eggs, giving the hen's system a chance to rest. An egg-laying hand requires perfect nutrition. DO make sure that the diet is complete. Plus, mineral grit and cuttlebone must be available.
