One is obviously a female. I purchased her about 1 1/2 weeks ago. She is now laying eggs. I have seen two. but here is the question. My male (who does not sing) is sitting on the eggs. There were no eggs before I purchased the female. I have played a Canary song bird CD to teach my bird to sing. He opens and closes his beak but no sound. Happy to have any information. Also can I disturb him to candle the eggs to see if they contain baby birds? Help
