My Mom has two canaries, Sunny and Ringo. Sunny is a girl. Since roughly March, she's been laying eggs. She'd lay a group and sit. No hatching, discarded the eggs. Then she'd lay another group and another etc. Mom FINALLY seperated the two of them, as I'd been advising her to do. I'd read that it's really not healthy for the female to continously mate and lay like that. Well, apparently Mr Ringo got lucky the day before Mom seperated the birds, because yesterdy Mom discovered something...Sunny feeding a baby. Now Sunny and Ringo are in seperate cages. Does Mom need to let him back in with Sunny? What steps does she need to take now?
