I'd suggest getting another cage and removing the female. Keep the cages close enough together that they can see each other and interact. Watch and see if she wants to be with the other one.

I made the mistake of just dumping a brand new keet in with my seven year old male Cricket. I'm just lucky that they took to each other right off. Everything I've read says that gradual introductions are the way to go.
