How old are the chicks? What are you feeding them? A parrot feeding formula would be good. Feed the babies until their crops seem full or until they no longer request more. Allow the crops to empty between feedings. Is the mother still sitting on the nest? Remember, young chicks need to be kept warm. : My canary has 3 babies, and she is not feeding them. one of them died yesterday, and it was empty. today, i trie to feed them myself, AND THEY ATE normally. they opened their mouth and swallowed, and wanted more. i can continue feeding them myself; thats not a problem. the problem is, how much do i have to feed them? untill they close their beak, or before? do i have to stop when i see their necks full? or before? i don't know anything about feeding the birds, the only thing i know, is that i when i tried, they ate, and it was as if they never ate before. can you help me pls?
