I have 2 parakeets.I am wondering if one of them is sick. Recently this parakeet in question cere changed from brown to a light blue????? Now I know that a brown cere means girl and a blue cere means boy. However, this parakeet's cere was brown for the past 4 years (bought parakeet in 2001)until now. Is my parakeet abnormal? Also, around this time, I noticed that this same parakeet began being "hot" all of the time (always have wings lifted). It doesn't appear to be sick; it has a healthy appetite, appears to be happy and plays frequently with the other parakeet. I have been giving it an antibiotic solution that I bought at Petsmart. No changes. I don't know what to do...Please advise!Thank you in advance!
