A couple of guys in the shop at my office brought me this blue parakeet today.. He was hungry and he is kind of skinny.. I work for the wildllife refuge, but I mostly take care of blue jays, mocking birds, doves, etc.. but never a domestic pet? He was someone's pet.. he is extremely friendly and will give you kisses and he loves people, and i've only had him home for about an hour. He is pretty small compared to the ones I have seen in pet stores, i would like to know how old he is just incase there are certain things that i need to do for a younger parakeet?.. can someone help me.. ? We are going to keep him.. he is so sweet and he gets a long with our lovebirds so well. Thanks.
