: I just found a robin egg, and I know that because it was alone and on the ground, something was probably wrong, and there's not much chance it will hatch.  I also understand now that this kind of activity "is not suggested", but it's too late, so I need to know a few things.  I don't have an incubator or incubation lamp.  I have a flash light, a book light, some towels and a heating pad.  I need to now how warm they need to be, how to give them humidity (will a spray bottle work? how many sprays and when?).  and anything else I might need to help it hatch... if it does at all.
