: I have a male(proven, does the whole male dance) ringneck dove.  Recently (yesterday) I purchased another dove to keep him company. This new dove has been sitting in the food  dish all day like a female does when she is nesting.  Is this common for all doves to do or have I lucked into a female? 
: If this is the case I should have beautiful babies.  The male is a cream colored(blonde) and the new one is white.
