Hi, I have just gotten a pair of 4 yr. old Red Sided eclectus. They are officially my first pair of large parrots, but I have kept other birds. I have a question though. Both seem very healthy when I had visited them, since they were on a healthy diet and were quite spoiled! Just 3 days ago, (on the day I got them) they looked like they were molting. It seemed correct since it's Spring and the weather is quite warm here in NJ. Right now, they look fluffed up and have gray feathers under their wings. Also, they are into preaning themselves more often than usual and they nap more often. Also, I would like to add when they are in the cage they look fluffed up but as soon as you take them out they get excited and active. They also sneeze once in a while (not often). All of these descriptions, would any of you say it's illness? (I know birds hide them very well.) Is there any concern?
