Have you cut the bird's light schedule down to the same as is in nature? Are you keeping the cage covered with a large towel from dusk to dawn?

Letting the bird sit on eggs actually helps to prevent the bird from laying more eggs. Let the bird sit on the eggs for up to three weeks. Then, discard the eggs. It's also possible to immediately discard the eggs and to replace them with either artificial eggs (available from a pet shop) or marbles.

DO make sure that cuttlebone and mineral grit (in a small dish) are available. The diet also should be vitamin, mineral, and protein enriched.
