: Does anyone have any tips on how to teach parakeets to mimic sounds?  My little guy is trying so hard to learn a couple sounds, but he gets lost in the middle.  Is a tape recording on repeat too monotonous for it?  I don't want him to go crazy and throw himself off his perch or anything.  :)
