: I didn't want to have to trim Bert's nails, because he is nervous of me, but I just saw that they were so long that they were twisting his toes, so I saw no alternative. I caught him, and trimmed his nails with a nail clipper. As I feared, he was very afraid during this process I then put him back in his cage. Now he is just lying there, breathing rapidly, and he looks like he is in shock.

: Please help. I am very worried.
