Well, daily tablespoon mashed boild egg is certainly too much. You can give about this amount twice weekly or much less on daily basis.
The canary eats what he or she needs from vegetables or fruit on daily basis.

: I am curious, because Bert actually appears to be gaining wieght. He usually does a good job of eating everything. There is usually nothing but hulls left in his seed dish the next day, and the brocolli and egg tend to make a complete disappearing act. The amount of cherry and apple eaten each day tends to vary.
