I have a beautiful budgie but she will not sit on a nest until they hatch. After 5-6 days she leaves the nest and doesn't return,this is the 5th nest she ahas done this way. She isn't bothered by anyone and the only time I disturb her is when I add fresh food and water to the cage but I do not bother her nest. I've decided to hatch the eggs in an incubator. I have hand raised canary birds before but never budgies. What temperature the incubator should be set at? Any other advice on hatching these little ones will be greatly appreciated.
