Ingrid, my suggestion would be get him to a vet asap. Have you checked his poops, are they runny, like he has diarriah ? If that is the case, he may dehydrate quickly, so do take him to the vet. I don't want to frighten you, but they can die quickly if not treated.If you have other birds, isolate the sick one from the others. Good luck.
