: : : My female canary has 2 babies that are 14 days old.  She has been trying to start a new nest, with these chicks in the existing one.  Should I put her in another cage & leave male to care for the babies?  Oh, she is also fighting with him...not a lot.  She did that before laying her eggs & I was quite surprised when 2 of them hatched!  I never saw them breeding.
