Remove the eggs and place the male back in the cage.

By the way, there's no need to separate the male from the female after mating. In fact, the male will help feeding the nestlings.

Diet is extremely important. The seed mix should be vitamin, mineral, and protein enriched. Also, do give fresh food every day.
