: I have had the hen's cage and the male's cage side-by-side for about 3 weeks.  The hen acted interested, but when I put them together, she attacks him.  I have put a plastic nest in her cage with some nesting material, but she has NO interest in building a nest.  HE is trying to build a nest in HIS cage.  Should I put her and the nest in HIS cage, or give up on them breeding? Should I get a different hen?  HELP!
