: : I kept the chicks from my pair & keep 3 to a cage. Seems to work fine. I have separated what I "think" are the males from females but they won't be sexually mature til one year old anyway. When giving treats I give plenty for everybody so there is no squabling lol, also placing of perches is important as they like to be the same height especially at night when they go to sleep.

: Before you sell them you should make sure of the sex as many people want a pet canary who is a male and will sing.
: Also be careful about putting in cages together as they like their own space and will sing better if in a cage by themselves.
