It might be best to put the new budgie in a cage alone and set the cages near each other. That way it doesn't feel threatened by the other birds and it has time to get used to it's environment. After a few days then reintroduce it to the other birds. : I've bought a Lutino Budgie yesterday late afternoon. I already have 3 budgies of my own, but they are all a shade of blue, and now that i've added the Lutino, they seem so scared of it. The poor bird doesn't move an inch off of it's perch. It seems so scared. The other birds just run away from it, and ignore it as if it doesn't even exist... The Lutino Budgie hasn't been eating or drinking at all. I mean I understand that it takes time for a new budgie to get used to it's new environment, but this one is like frozen stiff on it's perch. And when I put my hand in there it just stays in one spot, and lets me touch it. I don't know what to do. Can you please give me advice or something?
