Our parakeets laid 5 eggs and one hatched this afternoon as I said before there is no nest they just laid them on the floor of the cage. I just checked to see what was going on and see that the hen has pulled the hatchling over to her nesting area and is sitting on it and the rest of the eggs. Someone told us that we should remove the male but he is doing a fine job assisting the hen with the keeping all warm job. Is there anything we should do. Thanks Steve
