Mine is similar in size to yours and I have 6 in mine. 3males and 3 females. The best way to encourage them to breed is to have similar #'s of males to females. If you put in one more male you should be just fine. Make sure you have at least one more nest box than you do females so all have a choice and make sure they are hung at the same height. As for putting in bushes for them I don't know of one that will survive. You can plant grass for them and have cut tree branches in there for them. I would advise against putting in any other type of birds with them. Budgies are very aggressive especially when they are breeding. Good luck, Jodi
