a friend of mine was told that any canary can be color fed and turn red. i thought it had to be a red factor to respond to color feeding. is this correct? i have 4 canaries in an aviary. i don't know the sex of the 2 siblings. i wouldn't mind having babies, but i am concerned about the 2 siblings breeding. if one of the siblings should lay eggs, should i replace them with fake eggs? should i discourage this by not putting a nest in the aviary? or should i have a nest and only remove the eggs if one of the siblings lays? |
