One guards the food violently! No missing feathers or wounds yet. I am concerned the other will starve. Should I seperate them or let them settle in more to their new home?</font></font> <font face=arial size=2>: I would get another cage and separate these birds.</font> <font face=arial size=2>: I am surprised that this is happening with parakeets. This usually happens with 2 male canaries. One is dominant and the other can also starve to death.</font> <font face=arial size=2>: I would definitely separate the parakeets.
