<font face=arial size=2>: I have a female and male that yesterday were all lovey dovey and mating, and today I found her attacking him. He has a wound and missing feathers over his one eye and a wound on his one wing. I cleaned him up the best I could and have him out of the cage for now. The only thing I can think of is that she's getting ready to lay and wants him out. Is there anyone who really knows what is happening? Another thing is her belly has gone bald back around her vent and looks a bit swollen for at least a week now. Which makes me think it's not an egg in there - otherwise she would be dead by now. The feathers seem to be growing back now and she's not acting sick, just aggressive today. Did she pull them out? I don't need guesses - I need educated answers please. She's been aggressive with him now and then before, but never made him bleed. </font>
