Can anyone give me a general idea of how long the molting will last and when he'll start to sing again? He is not quite a year old.</font></font> <font face=arial size=2>: Hello:</font> <font face=arial size=2>: A canary will usually molt for about 8 weeks.</font> <font face=arial size=2>: I don't know where you live but it seems a little early in the season for him to be molting so give him good care and molting food and a lot of green vegatables and apple once in a while because they also tend to be a little extra nervous when molting and need peace and quiet.</font> <font face=arial size=2>: Good Luck, Grace</font>
